Type of coatings: Painting procedures have 3 to 4 coats - Primer - 2nd primer/sealer - Anti-corrosive - Anti-fouling Hull Blasting & Painting begins with thorough surface preparation, including the removal of marine growth and high-pressure washing to ensure a clean base for blasting. Once blasting is complete, a paint primer is applied and measured for Wet Film Thickness (WFT), which must meet required standards before proceeding. Final painting involves multiple coats, typically a primer, second primer or sealer, anti-corrosive, and anti-fouling layers, each applied at specific intervals as per the paint manufacturer's or representative's guidelines to ensure long-lasting protection and performance.
